Vertebral Body Stenting (VBS)

Areas of application

Traumatic and/or osteophorotic vertebral fracture, spinal channel stenosis, et al.

Surgery

VBS is a minimally invasive procedure with which an expandable stent is implanted in the vertebral body, thus re-erecting the body and/or repairing stenosis.
Bone cement is inserted in the cavity in order to stabilize the vertebral body (vertebroplasty).
